About

The Foundation was established in memoriam to our dear colleague and friend Tomislav Lipić, (1985-2022), one of the leading young Croatian scientists in the field of artificial intelligence and complex systems. He was passionate about promoting, supporting and helping younger generation build their scientific careers. With this foundation, it is our hope we can continue to contribute to this purpose in his name.

ACTIVITIES

The Foundation's activities are:

(i) Cooperation with institutions and individuals for promoting computational and interdisciplinary science, encouraging young Croatian scientists connections with both domestic and foreign counterparts, supporting their scientific work through grants, awards, scholarships, and financing programs.

(ii) Organizing seminars, lectures, workshops, and events in memory of Dr. Sc. Tomislav Lipić, featuring scientists from Croatia and abroad in the field of computing with interdisciplinary applications.

(iii) Establishing and maintaining contacts with domestic and international initiatives and organizations sharing similar goals as the Foundation.
